FPA dues are based on a formula of $0.35 per thousand dollars of U.S. flexible packaging sales, with minimum dues of $3,500 for members with sales under $10 million, and maximum dues cap of $40,000 for members with sales over $114 million.  As an incentive, the Board of Directors has approved a dues program that would enable first time converter members to phase into the full dues over time.  The first year dues would be one-third the normal dues rate, the second year dues would be two-thirds the normal dues rate.  The third year of membership would be at full dues. 

This dues structure, which was implemented in 2001, has encouraged a wider number of qualified companies to join the Association. This increase in membership has:

• Enriched the quality of networking opportunities.

• Strengthened the Association by representing a greater percentage of the flexible packaging industry.

• Provided a broader base of member participation for its various studies which in turn is yielding stronger corresponding reports from which members can benchmark.
  

• Fortified the Association's reach in the critical areas of environmental and safety regulations.

• Brought fresh insight and involvement to the Association.
